A simple recipe for Taco Bowls that is always a meal that is fun to prepare and eat.
1 lb. lean ground beef OR 1 lb. lean ground chicken or turkey
1 package (1-1/4 oz.) Taco Seasoning Mix
4 cups shredded lettuce
1 cup Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese
1 large tomato, chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
To make the Taco bowls, crumple 4 large sheets of foil to make 4 (3-inch) balls and place on baking sheet.
Place 1 tortilla over each ball; spray with cooking spray. Bake 6 to 8 min. or until tortillas are golden brown. The Tortillas will drape over balls to form shells as they bake. When done, remove from the oven and put one on each serving dish.
Whle the tortillas are in the oven, on the stovetop, cook the meat with taco seasoning mix as directed on the Taco Seasoning mix package.
Fill the shells with lettuce, meat mixture, tomatoes and sprinkle with cheese.
Serve with dressing, taco sauce or sourcream.
